We as people like to put on facades when we want to hide something from the people we care about. Sometimes we wear them briefly just to get past something that we don't want other people to see, and sometimes the facades stay for longer than we'd care to admit. We sometimes put them on to escape from who we are and create something that's better than who we actually are as a person. Why do we do that though? How do we get away from relying on such things and actually live our own lives?
