02-26-2012 Preparing to Prevail- Pastor Mark Rossington

As Christians we are no stanger to opposition when things like curses are hurled upon us for just believing in the things that we do, or even when things happen to us and we carry on the best we can. Time after time, and it can get to us after a while and we turn to things like friends and family for strength, or even favorite past times. There is a fine line though and it can get in the way of our lives and become a problem all on it's own, so where is it? Pastor Mark goes further into that question and uses the Old Testament story of David and Goliath as an illistration to what we should be doing to replenish us when things be big and scary. Wanna hear more about this? Easy! This little sermon is right here.

02-22-2012 What Do You Do When The Bible Is Silent?- Pastor Mark Rossington

Ash Wednesday is finally here, and that's the time when we remember what the season means to us as Christians as we have ashes but on our foreheads. Pastor Mark touches upon that in his new sermon series for the Lenten season and also talks about contemporary issues that the Bible is silent on. It's surprising on what the Bible doesn't say on certain things, like gambling, tattoos, and even things like yoga. So, what are we to do about that? He talks about that and lays the ground work out for the rest of the series, which can be found right here.

02-19-2012 Why Does God Allow This?- Pastor Mark Rossington

You open the newspaper or watch the news and it doesn't take anyone long to know that terrible things happen everyday, and it seems like it never ends. Then there are the events that happen to us personally and it just seems like it's one punch to the gut after another. We question, why does this happen to me? Or the popular, why does God let this happen? Pastor Mark has a new sermon series called: It's a Hard Knock Life and the first one in that series tackles that very question. Is God really to blame? If not, then who is? Take some time and give this one a hard listen, pretty please?
