09-25-2011 Make Friends And Impact Lives- Pastor Mark Rossington

Typically when you and I hang out with friends we will talk about our week and/or complain about the lastest thing that happened at work or at home. And sometimes, we say and do things that try to make ourselves popular with our friends, and have that be nothing more than status. Where does Jesus fall into this though? Usually by the wayside, unfortunately. Good news though! Pastor Mark gives great advice about how to impact our friend's lives by faith in Jesus Christ and using that popularity to humbly do so. Want to hear more about that? Why, it's right here!

09-18-2011 Your Arms Are Too Short to Box With God- Pastor Mark Rossington

You know how in boxing where if you have short arms it's extremely difficult to box with someone with much longer arms? That's how it's like when you box, or go against God. When we pray to Him we always forget the 'wait' part in prayer, and we tend to think He says 'no', and we tend to do things our way. This past Sunday, Pastor Mark talks about what happens when we do things our way and not God's way in his sermon. Now that the round is over, take a breather, and give his sermon a listen, won't you?

09-11-2011 How Can I Forgive When It Hurts So Much?- Pastor Mark Rossington

Forgiving people is a common action that people do everyday for offenses done to them, and it's something that most of us don't really think about. But what if the offense was so great and so painful that you couldn't do it? What if it hurts so much that you couldn't forgive the person? Could you forgive the person that's begging you to forgive them? Or worse, what if you forgave the person and they don't care? Pastor Mark digs real deep into those questions and more about forgiveness in Sunday's sermon, which is right here.

09-04-2011 Christian Civility- Pastor Mark Rossington

You know that elephant in the room that most people either ignore or pretend doesn't exist? What if that elephant can cause damage to people's relationships with friends, family, and to anyone that we meet on a daily basis? What if that elephant is Satan? Christians are not immune to being uncivil and hurtful to other people, but Pastor Mark tells us how we, as Christians, can overcome knee jerk reactions and usher that elephant out the door. Which I'm told can be heard right here.
