08-12-2012 Trusting God in Life's Changes- Pastor Mark Rossington

Change is a part of life, that's no secret about it and we've come to expect it. Whether it's a good change or a bad change, a sudden change or one that you can see coming, it's something that everyone can agree on that it's a mixed bag. People can deal with a good change easily, but the bad ones can either be navigated through with patience or they can hit you hard enough to make you want to give up or get angry about. What about those? In a brand new sermon series on Trusting God in Life's Changes, Pastor Mark sets it up by talking about those things and more and talks about how trusting in God can help make a painful change easier to handle. The start of that new series can be found here.

08-05-2012 Forgiveness- Pastor Mark Rossington

Forgiving someone and asking forgiveness is something we typically do without giving much thought, whether it's an, "It's okay," or an, "I'm sorry," we do it all the time. When someone does us harm in some degree or another we will wait until that person apologizes to us before we take any action, or, if they don't, sometimes we think about how to get back at them. Forgiving someone is important to us as Christians since Christ died for us to forgive us our sins, and it's even in the Lord's Prayer, but do we really mean it? Pastor Mark talks about forgiveness and what we really should be doing when we forgive someone and when we're aking someone to forgive us. Take a moment and give this little sermon a listen, won't you?
