04-22-2012 Making Relationships Matter- Pastor Mark Rossington

We have various types of relationships with the people around us from family members, friends, and to even co-workers. Some are really close and some not as close, but they're still there and we consider having a good relationship with them. If it's not a good relationship, or one that isn't as good as you were hoping, what do you do? What constitutes as a good relationship with the people around you? This past Sunday's message called Making Relationships Matter, Pastor Mark talks about what is and isn't a good relationship, and how sometimes we have to change our own bad behavior to make a relationship stronger. Curious? Intrigued? That sermon can get listened to at anytime, right here.

04-15-2012 What to Do and Not to Do- Pastor Mark Rossington

A lot of the time we go about our day and don't really give much thought about what we really should be doing or not doing. We tend to do things that try to make life easy for us or even happy, but that doesn't last very long, so we try something else. How many times do we do that without much luck and get frustrated by the outcome? Society tells us that we should be happy, but it can be very hard at times. This past weekend's sermon touched upon that and Pastor Mark talks about what we should be doing and what we shouldn't be doing. The sermon also talks about how we tend to do our will and not God's will, but does give a solution to that. Sometimes it can be difficult to see it, but it's worth the effort. Take a moment to give this a spin, won't you?

04-08-2012 How To Make Sure You Are Going To Heaven- Pastor Mark Rossington

It's Easter! That time of year means a great deal to Christians everywhere since not only did Jesus raise himself from the dead, he beat death! How cool is that? Speaking of death, a question, what if someone told you that you have one month to live? How would you live your life from here on? Let's change that question a little, how would you start living in that month? With those questions in mind, how can you be certain you're going to heaven? In his brand new sermon series on One Month To Living, Pastor Mark talks about those questions, and gives some light on how you will know for certain that you will go to heaven, despite what you might have heard. Intrigued? Well, you're in luck! It's right here for your listening convenience. Enjoy!

04-06-2012 Thank God, You Are Not A Part Of The 99%- Pastor Mark Rossington

When we see or hear something being ninety-nine percent, we think that's it's a good number to have  because it's close to being one hundred percent. Although, the past year, the phrase "ninety-nine percent" was taken to meaning something negative if anyone has paid attention to the news over that time period. In general though, it's still a good number to have, right? On Good Friday, Pastor Mark talks about that pecentage number and we should be thanking God that we're not a part of that, and what that means. Not really sure what that even means? That sermon is right here, if you're inclined to find out more.

04-01-2012 Jesus, The Christ- Pastor Mark Rossington

Holy Communion is one of the tennents of the Christian church that has a very special meaning  to everyone that partakes in it. We typically don't give it much thought as we take the bread and wine, and we may even say a prayer right afterwards. We also know that Jesus instituted it at the Passover meal with his twelve disciples right before he went into the garden to pray. There can't be much more to this act, right? In the final installment of Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, Pastor Mark talks about Jesus Christ and Holy Communion. It's a very special dinner that Jesus has invited us to, and given that it's Palm Sunday, it has even more of a meaning to use Christians. Take a moment and give this little humble sermon a go, pretty please?
