There's a lot of stuff going on in a church service that we just deem it as the things in a worship service that we have to do because it's church. It's church-y stuff, and we just go along with the flow of the service just because our parents did it and so did their parents, and so on. We've done those items of service so many times that we lost the meaning of why we say the parts of worship, and even the significance of each item. What are those items of worship, and what's so important about them?
