One of the things that we do when we worship is asking God for forgiveness, and is also something that we do in prayer. We are told that when we do that that God will forgive us and then remember the act no more, and that's a guarantee. When we ask forgiveness from other people that's really not that case because we feel obligated to do other acts to really show the person that we're really sorry. With God we sometimes do that as well, but is it really necessary?
